Description
There exist two distinct works under the title of Maṣḥafa faws manfasāwi, both penitential manuals for confessors having an Arabic origin. was compiled by , while was transmitted anonymously.The Arabic Vorlage is divided into 47 chapters, each of which assembles canons prescribing acts of penance for a particular category of sins. However, in all Ethiopian manuscripts the text ends abruptly after chapter 34.
