Description
Collection of texts used for the funeral service and the preparation of the body for the burial. It is also supposed to grant forgiveness to the sins of the dead. The time of the composition of the work is unknown. The oldest extant manuscripts date to the 15th century. There is a number of versions of the work, apart from the standard text printed in the contemporary church editions and found in recent manuscripts.
