Description
A Gǝʿǝz poem devoted to St Mary, which tells of her sorrow and distress caused by various tribulations the Holy Family experienced during the Flight to Egypt. According to the text, the exile lasted 42 months and ended with Herod’s death. It is chanted in the Liturgy of the Hours.
