Description
The Golden Gospel of Dabra Libānos za-Ham is a title (type="académique">) assigned to an archive found in the monastery of Dabra Libānos in the village known as Ham, today's Eritrea. This archive was introduced to the academic world in 1901 through the edition by the Italian scholar Carlo Conti Rossini under the title L’evangelo d’oro. Carlo Conti Rossini had the opportunity to visit the place and see this archive, which resulted in publication of the archival documents. 'L'Evangelo d'oro', a title of Conti Rossini's publication is used here to difine the totality of Dabra Libānos za-Ham's documents as published by the scholar.
